CFCC Prayer Army is a body of kingdom-minded intercessors, with a burden and mandate to intercede for the Church, its community and the nation at large. It is a movement of prayer that belongs to CrossFare Christian Centre but with an open arm to everyone. There are numerous bible verses that encourage us to intercede for one another. Jesus Himself showed us an example:
“And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not; and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
The Prayer Army seeks to prioritise Christ’s two greatest commandments: to Love God with all our hearts and to love our neighbours as ourselves. We pray and aim to reconcile at three levels:
Spiritually: Where there is broken relationship with God,
Socially: Where there is broken relationship among brethren
Environmentally: Where there is a broken relationship with our community and the world as a whole.
As a committed group, we meet every Sunday morning before service and also every Tuesday evening to pray; and as an army, we are always prepared for the leading of the Holy Spirit. We are always on the go for a spiritual move and that could take extra days or hours of prayer outside our usual time.
- To prepare the way through prayer for the inevitable move of the Holy Spirit.
- To pray in agreement with one another.
- To intercede for specific needs of our ministry, community and nation.
- To lift up needs of fellow intercessors before God.
We are the machine room of the church and therefore invite anyone who has the heart to pray and the will to intercede to come join us.
